From Eden Project to London Re:Wild


Eden Project, Measuring Success

The Eden Project will be turning 20 years old in 2021, and this project space is home to my work with the team trying to create an urban model based upon Eden’s values.

From 2021 to 2023, the Borough of Newham within the City of London has leased space to a team of people both related to and inspired by the success of the Eden Project. The initiative is called London Re:Wild.

As one of those inspired participants, I believe that London Re:Wild can be a centerpiece of “Green” urban regeneration in one of the most promising but challenged urban areas in the world.

The mission of London Re:Wild is focused upon reestablishing the connection between urban dweller and nature, but the mission articulated by Eden Project founder and visionary Tim Smit shows that success can be measured by fresh social impact initiatives that sprout from the London Re:Wild project in the future:
